Twenty years ago, Michaeline found her passion for family friendly interior design and embarked upon her career. As her design business evolved and grew, she dreamed of opening a retail boutique to support and build the business. Michaeline's sister Kelly joined the business soon thereafter, bringing along her love for curating and merchandising, and the dream of butter+velvet HOME+DESIGN became a reality.

Our beautiful Broadway location now houses our expanded kitchen, bath and home design studio so that b+v can be your preferred partner for all your design needs.

We feel so fortunate to be part of the Denville, NJ community, but our designs can be seen from coast to coast. We have completed beautiful projects in NC, FL, and even CA for our amazing clients!

We enjoy building relationships and providing design and home décor to create environments that are inviting, warm and personal.
